A recent large scale study including 2950 senior leaders across 16 countries, and various industries and conducted in cooperation with Oxford Economics looked at exactly these questions.
Here is what they found...
1. Close the loop (recycling) is the most commonly used practice, followed by narrowing the loop (doing more with less), and slowing the loop (using products/components longer)
2. Regeneration of e.g. biodiversity, natural ecosystems etc. is the most underutilized practice
3. While Retail and Consumer Goods are the 'leaders' in terms of industry, Switzerland leads as a country.
4. The difference between countries is significantly larger than between different industries
